Holiday Pet Portraits
Ah, fall. The leaves are changing, the weather is getting cooler, and our minds start turning to the holiday season that will be here before we know it. At Bell’s Furry Friends Photography, the holidays are a perfect opportunity to indulge in something to make you and your loved ones smile, Holiday Pet Portraits.
This year’s sessions are 20 minutes long. They include one 5×7 print and a $10 donation to one of two pet charities. The cost of each session is $55. No digital prints are included in the session fee, but photos and products will be available to order after the sessions.
This is the seventh year I’ve offered Holiday Pet Portraits. Every year, a portion of the proceeds from the pet portrait events go to charity due to the spirit of giving.
This year’s event dates:
- Sunday, October 25, 9 AM – 5 PM at Green Acres Kennel Shop, 1653 Union Street, Bangor. RSVP by calling 207-945-6841 or stopping into the store.
- Saturday, October 31, 10 AM – 3 PM at For Dogs Boutique, 251 Main Road, Holden. RSVP by calling 207-989-7297 or stopping into the store.
- Saturday, November 7, 10 AM – 3 PM at Loyal Biscuit Company, 109 Main Street in Waterville. RSVP by calling 207-660-9200 or stopping into the store.
In past years, the Eastern Area Agency on Aging’s Furry Friends Food Bank has benefited from the fundraiser. This year, that tradition continues. It is extending to include the Waterville Area Humane Society. Both are truly deserving organizations.
EAAA’s Furry Friends Food Bank supports seniors and people with disabilities who often have to make choices between giving up their beloved furry friend and eating. Quite often, these people give part of their meal to their pets to keep them fed.
Furry Friends Food Bank supports them by providing food and supplies. They are always in need of donations. Participants at the Bangor and Holden events will have part of the session fee donated to the Furry Friends Food Bank.
The Waterville Area Humane Society helps match people with their new best friends. Humane Societies are always in need of money and donations. Participants in the Waterville event will have part of the session fee donated to the Waterville Area Humane Society.
