Greyhounds Abound
Last week, I told you about a unique meet and greet opportunity when the Bangor Roller Derby Girls joined Maine Greyhound Placement Service at For Dogs Boutique in Holden. They raised $85 for the non-profit, but also awareness for the greyhounds and organization.
A meet and greet is an opportunity for the public to meet the greyhounds, talk with owners about what it’s like to adopt, what to expect, and raise some money to offset the costs associated with the rescue.
There’s usually a lot of snuggling with these amazing dogs. Even little Italian greyhound Spyro stole the show from his siblings Moonstone and Bella! See the entire Facebook gallery here.
